EiffelTower Tour Changes

The Eiffel Tower is changing the rules for group tours. In this short video we explain the new Eiffel Tower group booking rule and what it means for you, whether you are traveling with a guided group or visiting on your own.

What is changing

Starting September 29th, any group of 9 or more people can no longer walk up to the ticket counter with their tour guide. All large groups must now book in advance through a new dedicated portal.

What it means for you

  • Traveling in a group of 9 or more? Make sure your guide or organizer has booked through the new portal ahead of time.
  • Visiting on your own or in a small group? This is good news: less queue pressure and better odds of getting a ticket on the day.
  • Rules can change, so check the official Eiffel Tower website before you go. This was the situation when we filmed.

For the rest of your visit, our Paris Guide Bundle covers the Eiffel Tower area and all our favorite places in the city.
