How to get from CDG Airport to Paris

You just landed after a 10-hour flight, and the last thing you want to do is figure out transportation. In this short video we compare the main ways to get from CDG Airport to Paris and what each one cost when we filmed, so you can pick the option that suits your budget and your energy level.

Your options and prices

Here is what getting from Charles de Gaulle into the city cost at the time of filming:

  • RER B train: €14. The cheapest way into the city.
  • Licensed taxi: €56 to the Right Bank and €65 to the Left Bank.
  • Uber: the price varies, and it is usually more than a taxi.
  • Private driver: €90 to €120, with someone waiting for you with your name on a sign.

What we do

That last option is what we choose. There is nothing like stepping off a long flight and having a trusted driver ready for you. You don’t have to deal with ticket machines or taxi lines with your luggage, and Paris starts the moment you land.
