The Paris Salad I Order Every Single Summer (You Need to Try This)
Every summer in Paris, Colleen orders the same thing. In this short video we share her go-to dish: the chèvre chaud salad in Paris bistros, a French classic that never misses when the weather warms up.
What is chèvre chaud?
Chèvre chaud means hot goat cheese. Warm, breaded rounds of soft goat cheese are served on top of cold greens with a light vinaigrette. The contrast between the warm, creamy cheese and the crisp salad is what makes it such a good summer lunch.
Where to try it
You will find it on the menu of many traditional bistros. If you are in Paris this summer, one place we point to in the video description is in Saint-Germain.
